About Us

We are a family run restaurant, we are very proud of the quality of our food and our mom supervises all the food production to ensure the highest quality possible is always achieved.

In 2007 our mom (Silene) and sister(Luciana) opened their first food stall in London (Sunday upmarket in Bricklane), from there we started operating many more market stalls in different locations such as Greenwich, St Katherine’s Dock, Victoria, Canary Wharf, Brunswick and finally settled on a very solid Saturday market at Duke of York Square on King’s Rd. run by Partridges Grocery Store, there you can find our famous steak sandwich as well our homemade feijoada.

We acquired Katavento in late 2010 and have been expanding since then, in 2012 both brother (Bruno & Francisco) also joined the business full time.

We have become a Brazilian destination in South London, now offering not only food and drinks, but also live Brazilian music (MPB, Bossa Nova and Pop-Rock) as well as Portuguese lessons for kids of Brazilian heritage, that need to learn the language and culture.
